Impala Platinum Holdings Limited is a South African well established company that owns several companies which operate mines that produce platinum and platinum group metals, as well as nickel, copper and cobalt. Its most significant mine is the Impala mine in the North West province of South Africa.

Introduction

Internships in Chemical Engineering (X6), Environmental Management (X1) and Analytical Chemistry (X3) are available at our Refnery in Springs, Gauteng.
The aim of this program is to offer in-service-training / experiential training (P1&P2) in order to get a National Diploma in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Management and Analytical Chemistry.

Minimum Requirements

A  completed S4 Certificate / Statement of Results is needed – All S4 subjects completed.
Applicants who are presently studying towards their S4 subjects will not be regarded.

A well understanding/ knowledge of course material studied is needed.
No experience is needed.
Candidates will be needed to go through a medical examination, occupational assessments as well as a polygraph assessment.

Job Requirements
Duties and responsibilities will be given by the mentor / coach in line with the Training Institution’s requirement where possible.
